Hey what technique do you use to get high points:quoi:

At first I use to try and get combos, but I found that combos actually REDUCE:!: your score (sometimes). And that the points is not in making 3's but in getting the higher recipe items.

The scoring system is a bit whacky, so how do you get the most points:quoi::!:

Really, it just comes down to getting to the higher elements quickly, or at all. If you can keep the number of items on the screen low until you hit Bones or Blue Crystals, you should be able to make Gold or Shiny Rocks, both if which give you big score bonuses.

i recently found a trick. i figure out the center most column were items can drop. and use that only for building the next level.

ie: right off the bat only orange potions go in the center one. I try to use the other sides to stack similar colors to keep everything down.

I made it to bones without going over 5 up at the most.

Personally, I use the lower left corner of the board to stack things first. I've made it to Blue Crystals without having any stack over three tall. It's just a matter of placement when they're falling. Always remember that things go to the bottom left when popping and you'll get a lot better at combo-ing.

start on the right corner try to get the gold as soon as posible making combos x4 or x5 with the lowest items when you have planty of items and you can lose very soon try to delete all you can, may be if you have the gold item, try to put the rock on the top and many times is better trying don´t lose because each item puted give you a lot of points

I usually start in the lower right corner and just try to keep it contained to two or three columns. It starts to spread left and I get crystals about in the middle. Just careful planning of where your dropping them goes a long way. I don't tend to bother with combos, they usually just happen. I concern myself more with getting to the gold pieces as fast as possible since you get more points that way.

Yeah, I start in the lower right to counter the drift to the left. The score goes down if you get a combo of more than three, but it gives you more space to put in higher ranking pieces which are worth more points. It also makes the game last longer...

Just don't do what I did a while ago and dynamite a row of golds. :?

Hm, I just noticed that three gold nuggets do not make a token... I obtained three golden nuggets and got 17 points, but I have got 17 before with 1 gold and I didn't obtained nothing better than crystal now, so what is the sense of this game?

I start in the left side and contain the items needed to go up to 2 rows, so far I can get the number of items on screen to stay low until I get to eyes, and then I usually mess up...I can get to blue crystals guaranteed each game, but can't always get past that. The best I've done so far is 2 gold nuggets on screen.

I have a new strategy... it involves getting lines of two of everything before going up to the next ingredient, and when that happens getting as many sets as possible so there's minimal pieces there. For example, early in the game an ideal set up would be (from left to right) two purples, two oranges, two purples with an orange on top, two oranges, two purples with an orange on top, two oranges, two purples etc. Then, on the far right I change the line of two purples to a leaf, and then (hopefully) add an orange on the right. That sets of a chain reaction where the oranges turn to purple which turns to a leaf which lowers the orange on the purples which then changes three oranges to a purple...you get the idea. If all goes well I end up with four leaves evenly spaced along the bottom, and then I try to get two leaves beside two purples and repeat it.

The point of the strategy is to minimise clutter, and minimise the chance of having a lower piece stuck under a higher piece. Done well you should end up with a lot of higher-value items along the bottom.

Oh, and the point of the game is to have fun. As you collect ingredients you can mix them in the cauldron according to certain recipes and get different things, such as a background change. For mine, I normally go for the extra tokens.

well i figured that when you go higher, ingredient-wise, you can start getting the ingredient before it (i.e. if you just got an eye, you can get apples), so you should keep like one or two columns open for just getting the next ingredient. the space shouldnt be crowded with low ingredients so if you want an eye, keep only apples or dung in those 2 columns

i start from the right (cause they form to the left) and the higher ingredient will move left towards the center, where the highest pieces at the time are. the left hand side is usually for the lower ingredients (like dungs when i have crystals) and an open coulumn for when you want to put a low ingredient with a high ingredient into the middle column.

Keep going for combo chains, they make it much easier, so planning is involved. the fact that the next ingredient forms down then left is very important, the left and right columns are good for combo chains and the center is easiest to get gold with (the first piece at least) because the outside center columns are where the other stuff goes (when you have like a crystal and a potion - crystal goes to center, potion goes to right or left [outside center columns]) . the outermost columns are used to relieve the outside center (with combo chains).

once you get the first gold, the game is about survival (cause you can start gettin crystal chunks), so combo chains are necessary (for more room). planning and centralizing are basically the key strategies and it gets pretty easy to get the crystal right before gold.
