what is after apprentice status

It is the ingredients you gain per game while higher status the more ingredients you gain per game At aprentice status you gain 10 ingredients, and when you reach 100 games played you will reach alchemist status and gain 16 ingredients

Any way to check how many games you have played?

Click on "My account" then look at your Status. Your XP should equal the # of games you've played.
